Journalism Fellowships AnnouncedJack Webster Foundation Co-Chairs Don Babick and Scott Macrae today announced more than $14,000 in funding for 2012 recipients of the JWF Professional Development Fellowships.
Four recipients will attend the Poynter Institute in Florida in the following courses: Entrepreneurship in Media Organizations, TV Power Reporting, and Poynter Leadership Academy.
"We're very proud that the Jack Webster Foundation is able to provide professional development opportunities for BC journalists," Macrae said. "To date a total of $164,000 has been distributed." The 2012 Jack Webster Foundation Fellows are:

Link receives the JWF Fellowship in the name of the late BC reporter Don Matheson, whose estate endowed an award for a BC-born journalist.
Deadline for entries to the 2013 fellowships is February 25, 2013
