David McGee, QC, is clerk of the
House of Representatives.
McGee is a non
political officer of Parliament
helping the speaker
and
other MP's with the
business of the New Zealand Parliament. He was also a member
of the panel that oversaw public information campaigns just prior to the
referendums on voting systems. He has seen first hand the changes MMP has
brought to the business of parliamentary government.
